Microsoft® HTML Help Workshop

To enable the HTML Help Generator to create the help file the HTML Help compiler (HHC) included with Microsoft® HTML Help Workshop (HHW, free download from Microsoft ) needs to be installed. The HTML Help compiler is part of HTML Help Workshop and is the program that compiles a project (.hhp), contents (.hhc), index (.hhk), topic (.html), and other (.gif, .jpeg, etc.) files into a compiled help (.chm) file.

HTML Help Workshop is a complete environment for creating and managing help projects and their related files. The HHW HTML editor only lets you edit raw HTML. To make easy Help Authoring possible we extended the Help Generator with a  WYSIWYG Help editor
